The first thing I noticed about Clarins Liquid Bronze is its soft and milky texture, which reminded me of a very light moisturizer. The scent is equally as light and pleasant, and I found it to be surprisingly easy to apply with either your fingers or a cotton ball. It felt so light on my skin, that I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of color development. I'm happy to say that there were no streaks (yay!) and no dark patches. The color that developed was subtle, like the touch of a tan you get after rollerblading for a few hours.
If you're looking for a darker tan, you can apply Clarins Liquid Bronze (I love that name!) every day, or if you're like me and you just want a subtle glow, you can apply every three or four days. At $28 US for 4.2 ounces, this sunless tanner may not be the cheapest, but it's worth every cent. Follow up with Clarins Super Restorative Day Cream with SPF 20 for some further hydration and sun protection.
