Wesaunard and WarmaTowel Towel Warmer Review

Transform your bathroom into your own personal sanctuary

Wesaunard and WarmaTowel Towel Warmer Review Ah, mornings. Your bed's so warm, the room's chilly, it's such a struggle to get out of bed. You've spent many-a-times lugging your blankets into the bathroom with you, haven't you? Well we've got great news for you - warm towels!

If you live in the UK, you probably already know the wonders of a towel warmer. A huge hit in Europe, not only are they the single most stylish bathroom accessory we can think of, but also surprisingly practical.

If you were looking for a way to add warmth to your bathroom during the winter, or you simply dread that cold rush of air when you step out of the shower, forget about a heater--a towel warmer is much more chic.

Wesaunard, a British company who is responsible for making the world's highest quality and most creative heated bathroom accessories, gave us two of their most elegant towel warmers, the Futurama 15Z ($2,992. to $4,720. US) and the Builder 12Z ($890. to $1,315.) Wesaunard's clients include celebrities and many of the world's top hotels and resorts, such as London's Dorchester and Atlantic City's Trump Plaza. All units come in a variety of finishes from chrome to satin nickel to gold, which accounts for the price range. Each Wesaunard towel warmer is precision crafted in their UK factory and, as a result, boasts flawlessly perfect detailing.

If you're thinking that these prices look a bit steep for a bathroom accessory, remember that these durable and often heavy units will gracefully replace your current heater while saving you money on your electricity bill. The right towel warmer will effortlessly and single-handedly give a room style, and will probably last for generations.

Wesaunard and WarmaTowel Towel Warmer Review Wesaunard's Builder 12Z (top) is portable and maneageable which makes it the best choice for someone who moves often or rents. Sleek and elegant, this unit generates a considerable amount of heat while still featuring thin and steamlined bars. It would make the perfect accessory to a modern, marble or granite bathroom. Emitting just the right amount of heat to make a small to medium sized bathroom cozy throughout the winter, this unit was easy to move and could be put in a guest bathroom to hold hand towels for special parties or events.

Similarily portable, we found a slighly more economical alternative in Sussman's WarmaTowel W556 ($779. to $1,110.; left) Although Sussman's WarmaTowel is roughly the same size as Wesaunard's Builder model (both are about 34" tall), we found it to be slightly heavier (21 lbs) and bulkier. We thought that the WarmaTowel's design would fit in perfectly with a more industrial setting, such as a loft with brick walls. The WarmaTowel unit got quite hot to touch when left plugged in, so if you have children or pets it may be a good idea to get the automatic timer so you can set when you want the unit to be on and when you want it to turn off. The timer is an option for WarmaTowel only and can be wall-mounted.

Wesaunard and WarmaTowel Towel Warmer Review Not for those wanting something that blends in, this Wesaunard's Futurama 15Z towel warmer is 50" tall and can easily be considered a contemporary masterpiece. Despite its alomost industrial weight and feel, the Futurama looks beautifully elegant and modern. Using only as much electricity as a regular light bulb, this gorgeous appliance (which could more suitably be called a practical decoration) is meant to be fixed and wired directly into the wall (although we wired it to a regular electrical plug, as a portable alternative.)

A stylish towel warmer can single-handedly give your bathroom the feeling of a luxurious spa. Imagine stepping out of the shower every morning to and wrapping yourself with a toasty warm bath towel or robe. Almost makes you wish it was 8:30am, doesn't it? We can't think of a better way to start the day.
