Welcome to the world of perfect gadgets. Our first exhibit is the VTech color cordless phone, also know as the i5871, and its friend, the i5808 add-on handset.
Now, we know they look perfectly sleek and modern, but wait until you read what they can do! There isn't a cordless phone out there with more features and fun abilities. Where do I start?
The color screen not only makes the phone stand out visually, but it's surprisingly useful when you're in the bathtub and your phone rings six feet away. No more getting up and walking over! Just glance at the screen to see the photo of your friend who's calling.
The phones are as good inside as they are outside, traveling on the 5.8 Ghz range (so it won't interfere with your wireless internet.) The buttons are easy to press, the phones didn't break when we dropped them repeatedly, and the speakerphone on the handset is one of the best we've tried. Bonus time: stock up on accessory handsets because it works with up to eight remote i5808 phones (which you can put anywhere, not just where you have a phone jack.)
Think that's cool? In addition to uploading photos of your pals from your computer, you can also upload custom ringtones (as long as it's not ABBA), your own wallpaper, and update your address book (on which you can store 100 of your closest friends contact info) over your computer to multiple handsets. Now that's connected!
