Miami is major modeling city that quickly became over-saturated with models and has recently lost business to South Africa. Photographers love Miami for the location and the reliable weather, but have recently discovered that South Africa is more easily accessible from Europe and has just as beautiful beaches. Still, Miami is undisputably one of the top modeling markets in the United States.

The entire modeling scence is crammed into Miami Beach around Ocean Drive and Lincoln. Miami has a very definite modeling season: November to early May (especially Jan-March.) Many international models fly in regularly for direct bookings. Must have good, thin proportions and be at least 5'8". Models work more if they have a tan and can do swimsuit modeling.
