For reasons unbeknownst to us, the telephone has never really been "fashion-forward". Enzer Electronics is out to change this.
Their line of phones feature innovative, modern designs that will make the rest of your furniture very, very jealous. The ET-8417 model ($120. US) is about as stylish as phones get. We got so many comments on this phone that the flimsy feel of the phone hardly mattered.
Alphanumeric LCD display, a whopping 61 caller ID memories, call counter, speaker phone, date and time setting, and last number redial are just some of the toys that this comes with. Any cons? Well, if you like to know who's beeping you, then you should know that this phone isn't compatible with visual call waiting. Then again, with a phone this stylish we don't mind checking our voicemail a little more often. We also noticed that the phone had a bit of interference static and crackled when bumped. The speakerphone is just OK (our standard Bell phones have better speakerphone quality). Be sure to read the instructions - all the little buttons can get a tad confusing - but once you've got it down, get ready to play.
The ET-T3 model ($105.) may not have call display, but its sleek and simple design makes up for it. Designed by the famed designers at Jacob Jensen, it features three direct memory keys, high/low switchable tone volume and a handy mute function. It also has a removable base, which makes it suitable for both table and wall mounting. How convenient!
These phones provide a stylish way to update your living space...although you made need to update a few other things so they won't be overshadowed!
