Heidi Montag Is Addicted To Plastic Surgery
This may not come as a shock, more less a news. But The Hills star Heidi Montag is making an MTV's TRL of her own as she admits "I'm addicted to plastic surgery!"
At 23, Heidi Montag has already come under the knife twice. Her latest operation involves a staggering 10 plastic-surgery procedures, in just one painful day!

1. nose job revision 2. chin reduction 3. mini brow lift 4. botox in forehead and frown area 5. fat injections in cheeks, nasolabial folds and lips 6. neck liposuction 7. ears pinned back 8. liposuction on waist, hips and inner and outer thighs 9. buttock augmentation 10. breast augmentation revision
And she's not stopping yet. Heidi Montag is now preparing to get DDD-sized breasts:
"I'm already planning my next surgery - I'm determined to get bigger ones!"Labels: breast implants, cosmetic surgery, Heidi Montag, plastic surgery
No More Breast Implants For Girls Under 18!
The Italian government is out to introduce a legislation that will ban girls under 18 to undergo breast enhancement and other plastic surgery procedures.
The major reason for restricting minors to undergo cosmetic procedures is to clamp down the growing number of cases where unauthorized (and some authorized) surgeons have caused problems with botched operations or sub standard silicon implants.
"This legislation is primarily aimed at the growing number of girls under 18 who have breast enhancement surgery purely for fashion reasons and have no idea of the risks involved. Far too many adolescent girls are unaware of the fact that there are risks with this type of surgery and it should not be used purely for fashion and looks. At the moment we have a Wild West, cowboy style system of plastic surgery for young women and this must stop," says Francesca Martini, an undersecretary within Italy's welfare ministry.
As for the doctors who performed surgical operations, they also expressed agreement to the new legislation. Francesco D'Andrea of the Italian Society of Plastic Surgeons, says:
"We are very much in favor of this register because too many people carry out these operations without the proper qualifications. Banning under 18s from having the surgery is also a good idea because these girls are just too young to be operated on. Some surgeons have no idea what they are doing and create huge risks."
The Italian Society of Plastic Surgeons estimated around 85,000 breast enhancement operations a year in Italy, 70 percent are for aesthetic reasons and 30 percent for cancer treatment. According to the latest figures available, more than 10,000 teenage girls had surgery in 2008, with many of them getting the operation as a gift from their parents.

She Fakes Breast Cancer To Get A Boob Job
How far will you go for a boob job? How far will you go to make a relationship work?
Trista Joy Lathern is a 24 year-old Texan woman who lied about having breast cancer in order to raise money for a boob job. She shaves her head to look like a cancer patient, appeals to charity to help her raise money, then uses the $10,000 for breast implants.
When arrested by local police for lying and using the charity money for her breast enhancement operation, she claims she did it all for love. She wants to save her seven-month marriage.
True or not, her husband files for annulment anyway. The petition is not about the wife having small mammary glands. Instead, the husband claims his wife induced him to get married "by fraud." He also states being unaware that his wife was cancer-free when they married or when the fundraiser was held.
The woman will do anything to make things work. She's in love. But whether it's love for her man or love for breast implants, it's unworthy of the cancer lies.
And sadly, there's been small ripples to the genuine act of raising money to help real people with cancer after hearing Trista Joy Lathern's story.Labels: breast implants, relationships
