Why don't you call when you say you will?

Chelsea, California - Mainly because you're playing hard to get. Or maybe because you didn't want to be mean when the person offered you their number. There are so many answers to that question. Sometimes it could even be the person is just too shy to call and ask you out to dinner or a night on the town.

John, Toronto - When I say I will call, I do call.

Alexis, Los Angeles - Most of the time it's because I didn't like him or because he made a really bad first impression.

Marcus, New York City - If I say I'll call I will, otherwise I'll say forget it (about the relationship).

Candi, Georgia - Usually it is because I have had a change in plans that was unexpected and I don't want to turn someone down for a date that I really like. I usually call a little later or the next day to apologize. Then the fun part is making it up to them. Most men stay around longer if you aren't always so available!

Ron, London - Insecurity. I get very nervous or sometimes an inferiority complex about first dates. What to say over the phone etc, all these things just build up to opting out with regret. It's not that I do not like her but I fear rejection at times.

Megan, Australia - Because I loose their number, or don't know what to say.

Adriana, Mexico - Usually because something special came up.

Dolly, Egypt - Maybe I was busy, Maybe I freaked out and got shy about it, but still may be I was playing hard to get. You guys know like keeping you waiting for me... thinking about me... it won't hurt!

Beau, New York - I might not call to play games and make the other person want me more.

Jay, England - Because other urgent things came up and I didn't have time.

Denise, MA - I don't want to seem desperate. There is always some stupid reason why we don't call. I sometimes think that the other person did not have fun, and they do not want to speak to me, but then eventually I break down and call.

Mickie, MN - I always call when I say I'm going to. If I don't like someone, I won't tell them I will call them. So I always make it a point to stay in touch.

Bobbie Vee - I always do. Why other people don't, I really don't know. Punctuality is very important to me. Maybe some people don't call when they say they are because they don't want to talk to you anymore, but they should have the decency to at least call one more time and let the person know. Don't just leave them hanging.

Abbey, Montreal - I do call when I say I will. I'm known for doing that. I think that the reason why most/some people don't call is because they just don't want to talk to THAT specific person, unless it is to get sex.
