Men, Women and Their Views on Sex...
and the Opposite Sex

What's the most annoying thing a woman/man can do on a first date?

Chelsea, California - Well we can start with farting. All men get to that comfortable stage where they fart in front of you, and thats fine. But theres a right place and time for that, and it's definetly not on the first date. Second thing is there's nothing more annoying than a drunk guy that you can't even get to take you home because he's so drunk. Taking the bus or asking another person for a ride is not a good sign on a first date. Finally third thing is a guy that is so shy that when he speaks it's only to order his food and ask for the check. I can't date a man that can't openly talk to me!

John, Toronto - Change their mind and spend the whole evening obviously waiting for the date to come to as rapid a conclusion as possible. If you don't want to see someone, don't do it, cancel instead.

Alexis, Los Angeles - Burp! There is nothing more annoying than a big disgusting burp. YUCK!

Marcus, New York City - Try to go for a long-term relationship before they know you.

Candi, Georgia - Try to kiss me on the lips, because to me kissing is very intimate and special and if you don't know the person very well, it feels like your personal space is being violated. I would prefer a firm hug and a peck on the cheek or forehead. It's less threatening. I also hate a man that flirts with other women while he's on a date with you. No class at all!

Ron, London - If she does not make a reasonable effort to look good for you. Also not really listening or paying attention to you when it's your turn to speak. If she's in a rush to go somewhere else and you do not have enough time to get to know each other, that's also annoying.

Megan, Australia - Talk about his/her ex.

Adriana, Mexico - Be too eager, like bringing me flowers or dressing in very formal attire.

Dolly, Egypt - Act like an arogant son of a bitch, being a brag or macho makes me sick, I cant stand guys like that.

Beau, New York - Say something bad about my looks or be rude.

Jay, England - Fart or burp - not very lady-like.

Denise, MA - First of all, they could chew with their mouth open. Next, they could only talk about themself or They could ramble on about their ex's.

Mickie, MN - I hate it when guys act fake around me. Like when they pretend like they have the same interests as me, just so I'll like them more. I actually like it when we have some difference, then I get a chance to try new things. I also hate guys who are totally inconsiderate.

Bobbie Vee - The most annoying thing they can do is be impolite. I am the kind of guy who enjoys doing special things like opening doors and car doors, letting the girl listen to what they want to on the radio etc. It is very annoying to do these kind of things and not even get a "Thank You".

Abbey, Montreal - From personal experience - the most annoying thing that a man can do on a first date is to studder a lot while talking or spit while he's talking.
