Scarlett Johansson Rumored Allen's Muse

Scarlett Johansson put the record straight as she denies the rumors of being Woody Allen's latest muse. The actress has been working with one of the most revered Director in the industry for their forthcoming movie entitled Vicky Christina Barcelona where she played the role of a sexually free spirited woman named Christina.

Johansson also appeared in three of Allen's movie namely Match Point in 2005 and Scoop in 2006. These series of involvement made the press even more suspicious. The Director even admits that Scarlett Johansson is the inspiration of his films but the actress persistently rejects the claim.

"I'm not his muse. Every single junket that we've done so far, we always get the muse thing and we always say no, it's not that way. Woody and I both appreciate how wonderful it is to work with your friends, and it's fun and we always have a great time when we do it, we entertain each other, we understand each other and we poke each other."

She could only insist.

Heroin Chic?

Grammy's star Amy Winehouse is planning to launch a range of beauty and fashion products inspired by her own distinctive look.

A friend of Amy’s told the London Sun paper: "There could be hairspray, head scarves, liquid eyeliner, perfume. All the things that are distinctive of her look."

Is this the return of heroin chic? If so, I hope we don't buy into it!

Jennifer Lopez has had a suite designed and decorated especially for her at North Shore University Hospital in Long Island as she prepares for the birth of her twins.

And what's more the famed diva has been staying true to form and insisting no one is allowed into the room before the big day.

Sources told New York Daily News’ Page Six column, "No one's even allowed in there until she gets here. It's just sitting there for her." Just last week it was reported that the hospital had been practising its kidnap drills in readiness for her arrival.

Britney's ex Kevin Federline has been voted the 7th most influential man under forty-five by Details magazine.

Apparently a well-publicised custody battle can do wonders for your rep. K-Fed, the same failed rapper/back up dancer/ex Mr Britney Spears who was a laughing stock just a few months ago has been voted the 7th most influential man under forty-five by US style bible Details Magazine.

The mag's even listed the man once accused of corrupting Britney as a "Good Father". And he certainly seems to be, it’s just announced that as he had the kids for Thanksgiving he’s letting his boys spend Christmas with their mom (yay! crack-pancakes).

Britney Wasn't a Virgin, Surprise

Though for a while Britney was the world’s most famous virgin after proclaiming to wait until she was married she in fact lost her virginity at 14.

Not that many people are worried about Britney being the good girl we once thought these days, but a source has told Us Weekly magazine that despite telling the world she planned to wait until she was married, she in fact lost her virginity at 14.

Lawyer Eric Ervin, who worked with Spears as a teenager, said the "virgin" image Spears portrayed was simply, a "PR blitz." He claims that boyfriend Reg Jones actually took care of that at 14 and that she and Justin Timberlake were intimate from the beginning.

Really this doesn't come as a surprise, the real question is when did she lose her sanity.

People Magazine has named Matt as the unlikely but welcomed "Sexiest Man Alive" winner.

He takes the crown from his friend and frequent co-star George Clooney but, while he was delighted with the news, the ever humble star wouldn't accept the award. "I was floored when I heard you guys voted me the Sexiest Man Alive. My nine-year-old stepdaughter now thinks I'm cool – well, cooler. You've given an aging suburban dad the ego-boost of a lifetime."

Honestly I loved him long before People Magazine, now if next year Ewan McGregor gets picked, I'm keeping this blog posting as a record that People Magazine is reading my mind.

OK! Magazine was the first to announce the latest celebrity baby-bumb news, is Posh having her fourth child?

The magazine claims that Posh, a.k.a Victoria Beckham, was spotted buying girl stuff at a store (didn't Mel B have a little girl not long ago?) and also quotes an unnamed (which tends to mean non-existent) source that claims she's been secretly meeting with interior designers to create a new nursery.

To be honest this news caught my attention because I really wanted to see pictures of the bone-thin celeb looking more normal, which usually sparks baby gossip in Hollywood. Nothing yet...

Give "Dog the Bounty Hunter" a Second Chance

By now you've heard about the uproar over Duane "Dog" Chapman's (a.k.a. Dog the Bounty Hunter) hate-filled "N" word rampage against his son's African American girlfriend. Love him or hate him, its stirred more passion and more coverage than Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan and I for one would rather have the racist underbelly of a society exposed and discussed than pop-star crotches any day.

Last night's tear-filled apology on Larry King is a good start and let's give the man some credit for not taking the "rehab for hatred treatment" route.

Take a close look at Paris Hilton's new boy-toy, I think he's actually a toy!

Paris Hilton has finally just broken down and bought herself a beautiful robot boyfriend. And because the voice recognition technology is a bit behind, she's telling everyone that he's some Swedish guy named Alexander von Zweigbergk Väggö, to try and limit direct communication with him. It's oh-so-obvious. Now, she's been pulling the string on his back and actually has him spouting such nonsense like how her family is "kind, normal and ordinary." He's even saying that Hilton surprised him with her sparkling personality when they first met, as he was introduced to her during his vacation from being a pizza delivery guy, backpacking through Los Angeles.

"I had a totally different picture of her before that. I was impressed she was so focused. I love to be in her company."

See? That's how we know he's a fake. Focused on what? That makes no sense. He must be destroyed.

Strange Space Object Causing Illness

It sounds like something from a Hollywood movie but its real.

Eyewitnesses watched a fiery ball fall from the sky and smash into the remote Andean plain in Peru.

When villagers went to investigate, they encountered fetid, noxious gases, according to local health officials.

At least 200 people have become ill after inhaling "toxic" fumes emanating from the resulting crater.

Its not clear what is causing the illness and even Steven Spielberg doesn't have the answer - let's hope Tom Cruise can save us.

Halle Berry Pregnant

Halle Berry has confirmed she is pregnant. The 'Monster's Ball' star has revealed she is "beyond excited" to be three months pregnant with boyfriend Gabriel Aubry's baby.

Halle, 41, told US TV show 'Access Hollywood': "Yes, I am three months pregnant!

"Gabriel and I are beyond excited, and I've waited a long time for this moment in life. Now the next few months will be the longest of my life!"

Halle, who has been married twice met 32-year-old model Gabriel while shooting a Versace ad in Los Angeles in November 2005. The pair went public with their relationship in February 2006.

By Hollywood standards this a stable-enough relationship and its nice to see someone that's suited for motherhood take on the role, and my "Oh God not Nicole Richie" disappointments are calmed!

Cameron Diaz Offends Peruvian Natives

While on a tour of Peru this Friday, Cameron Diaz, star of "Shrek" has accidentally offended the locals who had experienced decades of abuse and violence from Maoist guerilla insurgents.

Diaz carried a messenger bag with the slogan, "Serve the People" printed in Chinese on the flap, which was a popular political slogan of the Communist Leader Mao. While in some countries these bags are regarded as stylish and harmless, Peruvians were highly offended by her choice of accessories.

In addition to being offensive (though we know she didn't mean it), why carry an olive green messenger bag in the first place?

Victoria Beckham, former Spice Girl and a celebrity so well-known that even my high school chemistry professor despises her, debuted her designer denim line in New York.

The label, dVb, sells for around $250 a pair, and obviously caters to only those who can afford Beckham's expensive taste. The jeans have a large star stitched on the back, and she was well-received by her fans and the media.

One 18 year old fan says, "During Middle School I became the ugly duckling and I didn't have many friends and then I started following Victoria and her fashion tips and people starting telling me I was beautiful. I have her to thank for that."

Okay, so maybe Beckham won't be the next Vera Wang, but with Spice Girls fans like this, sales might do fine!

Matthew McConaughey, star of numerous screen productions, has been named People's "bachelor of the year". He was photographed shirtless on the beach, like he always is.

Designer Fashion is Everywhere

In an age where the Olsen twins are fashion designers, Forever 21 creates knock-offs of European designers, and Target sells designs from the top fashion designers, fashion has become more of a business than it ever has been.

However, designers aren't too concerned about the mass production of fashion and the deterioration of the designer label. For celebrities clients, having an expensive one-of-a-kind dress is still the ideal. For the rest of us however, the Target collections are much more affordable.

Heidi Klum poses topless

Supermodel and mother of two, Heidi Klum, posed nude in a photoshoot Monday for Jordache Jeans.

The new spokesperson flew in to L.A. from New York just to do the shoot, which lasted 10 hours.

Star magazine reported that photographer/director Brett Ratner had a great time shooting Klum and everyone was impressed by her body.

Don't get too excited though, Klum will be hiding her private parts in the final product.

Dior Cruise 2008

The show began to the sounds of Crosby, Stills and Nash's Marrakesh Express, continued with flowing pink champagne and even had a couple of models trip due to the 'towering steel toothpicks'. But this latest collection for the Parisian fashion house is a testament to the history and visual culture of John Galliano.

Like last year, the occassion was staged in New York with a sunset backdrop of the Twin Towers site and the pink glow of New Jersey. Galliano acclaimed for his 10 years at the luxury fashion house celebrates this collection with a 60s theme full of rosettes, pouted lips, jeweled ankle strap stilettos.

"A lime green satin trapeze coat embroidered with paisley paired with matching Capri pants, over sized shocking pink sunbonnet and jeweled pearl choker and jeweled sandals set the tone for a collection that consisted of sumptuous fabrics in acid trip colors, gauzy dashiki-like gowns, animal prints, maxi coats, '50s and '60s-inspired plastic sunglasses and ostrich plumes. Swinging circle skirts, from mid-calf to mini added an Elizabeth Taylor element to the offerings."

Few of the celebrities that graced the momentous event were spokeswoman for Dior Perfume Charlize Theron along with Penelope Cruz, Dita Von Teese, Kylie Minogue and Anna Wintour who all offered praise and admiration for the collection.

Dior has forever been a leader in fashion and symbol of luxury ever since 1947, so it is no surprise that Galliano continues the tradition 60 years later!

Lindsay Lohan tops Maxim's Hot 100 list

Drew Barrymore may have topped People's list of the 100 Most Beautiful People, but she didn't even make Maxim's Hot 100.

Instead, controversial actress Lindsay Lohan took home the number one spot, forcing two-time recipient Eva Longoria to ninth. Maxim's Editor in Chief Jimmy Jellinik said in a press release Lohan's controversy is exactly why she was chosen.

Joining Lohan in the top ten are other young starlets, including Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson and Rihanna.

Miller Sisters 'Set up Shop'

Twenty8twelve is the newest celebrity clothing line from the two famous Brit Miller Sisters. Sienna Miller, who has long been known for setting the trends with her bohemian inspired chic looks, when paired with sister Savannah, who is a trained graduate of Central Saint Martins, seem to make the ideal pair for a brand new fashion line.

The collection is set to debut in August and "includes pieces such as sharply tailored wool jackets and trousers, Empire line silk smock dresses, skinny jeans and silk and jersey tops. It will retail from about $75 for a silk jersey tank to $650 for a leather jacket."

Costume Institute Gala 2007

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York was where all the celebrities were Monday night. This year was a tribute to Paul Poiret and his designs as the "King of Fashion. While Lindsay Lohan rocked her black revealing dress, which left little to the imagination, other celebrities like Kristen Dunst and Naomi Campbell werent looking so hot. The gala is one of the most glamorous events that has celebs dressing to compete.

From vivid pinks, cobalt blues and deep purples to virginal whites the event was an array of colors in honour of Poiret. Jessica Simpson, John Mayer, Christina Ricci, Mischa Barton, Cameron Diaz, Lucy Lui, Jennifer Garner were some of the many stars that made the event a success. But this is just the beginning of this summer's red carpet events, so stay tuned for the hits and misses to come!

Fans determined to free Paris Hilton

It didn't take long for Paris Hilton supporters to create an online action group against the socialite's recent conviction.

The site claims Hilton is being oppressed and says it has two major protests planned to fight the sentence - one in Los Angeles and one in New York. No other details have been provided at this time.

Hilton was found guilty last week of violating probation on a recent DUI conviction and was sentenced to 45 days in jail. Hilton was found driving with a suspended licence after being pulled over for a broken taillight. She said she was unaware her licence was suspended at the time and has since apologized.

It's nice to see more American youth getting involved in politics...maybe soon they'll lend their activism to more substantial campaigns, like "Save Darfur."

Bad week for Lindsay Lohan

First pictures of starlet Lindsay Lohan allegedly snorting coke in a bathroom stall surface on the internet, and now some critics of her new film Georgia Rule are tearing the young actress’ film apart.

The movie is about a troubled teenager who is sent to live at her grandma’s [Jane Fonda] house for the summer in hopes of turning her life around. She parties, dabbles in eating disorders and has sex too much…sound familiar?

One particular review gave it merely one star out of four, calling the film a disappointing cliché of family empowerment. Its star-studded line up and production crew allegedly disappoint, despite their renowned past work. This is also the film Lohan received a notice from the head of the production company stating she was arriving late on set too often and sometimes not arriving at all.

However, other reviews say the film exceeds expectations. Decide for yourself this Friday when it hits theatres. It is rated R for sexual content…and irony.

Ty Pennington arrested in DUI

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition reality TV host Ty Pennington pulled a Paris Hilton Saturday morning when he was arrested in Hollywood under suspicion of DUI.

The carpenter publicly apologized to his fans and the ABC coworkers Monday, admitting he made a mistake.

“This is about accountability. Under no circumstances should anyone consume alcohol while driving. I could have jeopardized the lives of others and I am grateful there was no accident or harm done to anyone," Pennington said in a statement released through his publicist.

Pennington was arrested around 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning and released on $5,000 bail two hours later. He’s due back in court June 4.

The TV star called the incident a wake up call. Hopefully it put a nail in whatever drinking problem, if any, the stud may have.

Venus Ramey, 82, the crowned Miss America of 1944 who was awarded this title for her singing, dancing, and comedic talents proves that she is more than a 1940s pin-up girl.

On her farm in Kentucky, she shot the tires of a man who was thieving on her property. The man said that he'd leave, but she shot his tires so he couldn't leave.

The man was arrested for trespassing, but Venus Ramey proves to be more than a picture of a young women on a B-17 during World War II.

Kristine Lefebvre, a contestant on 'The Apprentice' who failed to snag a job with Donald Trump has found another lucrative deal: appearing in Playboy.

The attorney, who has helped Pamela Anderson negotiate deals with Playboy, is a cancer survivor who hopes to use this publicity with Playboy to support others with the disease.
