Magical Success for Last Harry Potter Book

The 7th and last book in the Harry Potter series was so much embraced by young and old fans alike that business was taken away from the 5th movie, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix".

In spite of 'spoiler' leaks around the internet in the past week, enthusiasm for the new book was still strong. Fans locked themselves in their room all weekend, refusing to sleep until they finished the 759-page book.

"J.K. Rowling does not disappoint; I thought she did brilliantly. It was terrifying; sometimes I was scared to keep reading on. I cried buckets," said Todd, 20, who lamented that "never again will I stay up all night reading a new Harry Potter book, or go to its midnight release party, or invent wild theories about Harry being the Heir of Gryffindor."

J.K. Rowling Expresses Feelings About the End of Harry Potter

J.K. Rowling, author of the popular Harry Potter series, is heartbroken and mournful about the end of her series as she completed the seventh and last book, but expresses excitement for it at the same time.

The seventh book, 'Deathly Hallows', is her favorite book out of the seven book series. Saying good-bye to the series was hard for her, but luckly Rowling has a sense of achievement that is well deserved.

'Deathly Hallows' will conclude a series of books and movies that have captured both children and adults alike. Even my seven year old little sister has read the first three books of the series... Books with Harry Potter's popularity don't come around every often, and the excitement that generates with the release of each new book will be missed.
