The pop star, Britney Spears has a new upcoming video and it will surely hit the charts but this time it's not about a new album of some sort but her sex scandal.
The British paparazzo, ex boyfriend Adnan Ghalib claims he and Britney made a sex footage where Britney wears nothing but a pink wig, taken while spending their holidays in Mexico. Moreover, he admits he is selling the two-hour tape for the “right price”.
According to a source, "At one point in the tape Adnan asks Britney to remove the pink wig but she refuses, saying, 'Take what off? There's nothing left to take off.'"
This scenario isn't new to the industry and Britney isn't the only celebrity to be the victim of a sex tape scandal. Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, Kim Kardashan and Verne Trover among others all have their version featuring themselves in raunchy videos.
This shall be a lesson to everyone not to be reckless of ones action and as for Britney "Don't try messing with a paparrazo!"

Last night, our founder Hilary Rowland held the first in a monthly series of FAME Club events. FAME, of course, is meant to be tongue-in-cheek, and stands for fashion/arts/media/entertainment. The event, which focused on film and tv, was held in New York City's SoHo district at the posh Sanctuary restaurant, which was closed to the public for the event. Of the 40 guests, were Weinstein VP Jonathan Fuhrman, Marvel Studios bigwig David Maisel, famous and fabulous IMG senior VP Ivan Bart, Town & Country features editor Thomas Farley, and actors Julia Stiles, Lonny Ross (30 Rock), Federico Castelluccio (Soprano's) as well as Michael and Paul Sorvino. Also in attendance were producers Julio DePietro, Russell Terlecki, Rene Bastian, Grant Greenberg and Talia Osteen as well as journalists from New York magazine, Radar, Vogue, NY Times, Marie Claire, Business Week, HILARY magazine, Page Six and US magazine.
Hilary plans to hold FAME events monthly, rotating between fashion, film/tv and music focused events.
American Idol has discovered a lot of America's talents and brought them to the pedestal of fame. Its most recent Season 7 winner, David Cook is having the time of his life evenmore now with the premiere of his first single entitled “Light On” from his yet unnamed album. The tune was produced by Grammy winning producer Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Kid Rock) which is being released to radio this week and will be available to Itunes on September 30.

There are a few mishaps. Let's start off with Tom Bergeron and Heidi Klum. They did drama on stage to differentiate drama against comedy. Supposed Klum fainted into the arms of Bergeron to illustrate drama, then the former dropped her to show comedy, in the end it became Klum's fall too hard that it left her bruised on her thigh.

Fashion shows such as the ongoing Spain's top fashion show Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week doesn't allow models to walk down the catwalk for being too skinny. Each model undergoes Body Mass Index calculation done by the World Health Organization (WHO) itself. Body Mass Index calculated on a height-weight ratio, a model must measure at least 18 to be considered healthy. A model measuring 1.75 metres, for instance, must thus weigh at least 56 kilograms.
It's good that having this measure, media-pressured teens would develop their self-esteem and self-worth even without desperately shrinking their bodies.

Sarah Palin for President? Hmmm... is SHE ready to lead?
This is really something that everyone should be aware of:
If McCain is elected as President, Sarah Palin will be a heartbeat away from running our country. There is significant risk of this occurring in his first term alone, augmented by McCain's age and history of cancer. 18% of presidents have died in office. The possibility that Palin could become president if McCain is elected is very real indeed. Do we really want Palin to take over the United States government in the event that McCain is unable to fulfill his duties? Read on and decide for yourself....
Sarah Palin's resume on being able to run a government that represents over 300 million people:
- Bachelor's degree in journalism (with a minor in political science) from the University of Idaho. A Journalism degree is not particularly relevant nor beneficial for a president. Dick Cheney even received a masters degree and started a doctoral degree. She would be the first president since Herbert Hoover (who even went to stanford) to have an irrelevant degree. All presidents since then have had degrees (except truman who went to law school for 2 years but had 35 years gov't experience) related to the military, business, law and politics. Since 1897, only two presidents have had degrees not related to being an administrator in some way. Those presidents only served one term and are considered unsuccessful by historians.
- Wasilla City Council from 1992 to 1996, then mayor 1996 to 2002. As mayor of Wasilia, Palin built - as her legacy - a $15 million multi-use indoor ice arena on land that did not belong to the city. It will cost Wasilla at least an additional $1.67 million to acquire the land which the town is attempting to pay for by cutting library services, postponing capital improvement projects, and raising fees. Most cities under 10K don't have such expensive facilities. This put her town into debt. This is against the GOP platform against wasteful spending and throwing the gov't into debt.
- Threatened a lawsuit to stop the listing of polar bears on the endangered species list, fearing that it would hurt oil and gas development in the bears' habitat off Alaska's northern and northwestern coasts. She has also been a vocal critic of scientists who suggest that climate change is leading to the decrease in polar bears in Alaska.
- Is responsible for approving a $400,000 state-funded propaganda campaign to justify Alaska's barbaric wolf slaughter from the skies.
- Her Husband works for BP energy corporation at an oil field on Alaska's North Slope (family ties to oil company)
- Zero Foreign policy experience, if you exclude her negotiating with foreign energy companies to exploit American resources. She is considered the leader of the Alaskan national guard but this is largely symbolic since she does not have authority to send the national guard into war. Biden, Obama, Cheney and McCain have all worked on legislation on national foreign policy. There are 17 border states, just because you're a governor of a border state doesn't mean you have national foreign policy experience.
- Does not know what the V.P. actually does. “As for that V.P. talk all the time,” she told CNBC’s Larry Kudlow in late July, “I tell ya, I still can't answer that question until somebody answers for me: What is it exactly that the V.P. does every day?"
- She has a total of a little under 2 years in state government. In comparison, Sen. Obama has 7 years of experience in state government and 3 years in federal government.
- She has less experience (beyond the local level) in government than Obama, McCain, and Biden.****** If she assumes the presidency within McCain's first term, she would assume office with less experience beyond the local level in the government than ANY OTHER PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY of the United States.******
- Palin has said she is "as pro-life as any candidate can be" and called abortion "an atrocity." She has supported mandatory parental consent, and while she is pro-contraception, has also indicated her preference for abstinence education over "sex-ed programs." She would permit abortion in cases where the mother's life was endangered, but not in the case of rape or incest. ****** Important Note: There is nothing wrong with being pro-life. Palin is not only pro-life, but also ANTI-choice.
- Palin recently said that the war in Iraq is "God's task." She's even admitted she hasn't thought about the war much—just last year she was quoted saying, "I've been so focused on state government, I haven't really focused much on the war in Iraq."
- In August 2008, according to an interview she claimed to have had no idea what the Bush administration's plans were for Iraq and defended her stance stating it has nothing to do with state affairs, even though Alaska has a large military base.
- Supports Death Penalty
- Supports unrestricted right to keep and bear arms and is a member of the National Rifle Association. Palin says, "I am a lifetime member of the NRA and I support our Constitutional right to bear arms." In 2004 in the U.S., 1804 children and teenagers were murdered in gun homicides, 846 committed suicide with guns and 143 died in unintentional shootings.
- Is a member of Feminists for Life; she backs capital punishment, and opposes same-sex marriage.
- Supported Alaska's decision to amend its Constitution to ban same-sex marriage and would support a ballot question to deny benefits to homosexual couples.
- In July of 2008, Palin became the subject of a state ethics investigation for abuse of power in Alaska: in late July, Alaska's state legislature voted to hire an independent investigator to find out whether she tried to have a state official fire her ex-brother-in-law from his job as a state trooper. She has also refused to call for the resignation of Alaska Senator Ted Stevens despite his indictment for allegedly hiding gifts received from an oil firm.
- Although Palin is aware of a climate change, she fails to recognize that we, as gas-guzzling humans, have played a large part in it. She is not interested in alternative energy choices. She's interested in drilling in the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge.
- Palin said in a 2006 debate that she supports teaching creationism alongside evolution in public schools on the grounds that "healthy debate is so important." In the same debate, she said she believed in a creator and avoided an up-or-down stance on evolution.
- Palin never left the country before July 2007 when she needed to first obtain a passport before visiting Alaskan National Guard troops stationed in Kuwait.
- As mayor, former city officials and Wasilla residents said that Palin approached the town librarian about the possibility of banning some books, though she never followed through and it was unclear which books or passages were in question.
- Six months ago, Palin told members of the fringe Alaska Independence Party—who advocate for a vote on secession from the union—to "keep up the good work" and "wished the party luck on what she called its 'inspiring convention.'"
- As mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, Palin enforced a policy of charging rape victims for their own rape examinations: an exam that costs $1200.
- Palin is against Stem Cell Research.
- Sarah Palin recently claimed that she turned down federal funding for the Bridge to Nowhere. However, in her 2006 campaign for governor she was an enthusiastic supporter of the project saying that Alaska should take advantage of earmarks "while our congressional delegation is in a strong position to assist."
- When asked if she believed in the Bush doctrine, Palin had no clue what the Bush doctrine even was, no less an opinion on whether she believed in it or not. The Bush doctrine, which flung open the doors to the catastrophe in Iraq, was such a fundamental aspect of the administration’s foreign policy that it staggers the imagination that we could have someone so close to the White House who doesn’t even know what it is.
Our take? We are completely dumbfounded by John McCain's selection of the trigger-happy, homophobic, anti-abortion, animal-killing, political featherweight, Sarah Palin, as his running mate. Palin has to be one of the biggest political ploys in history.

“Every three minutes in the United States, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer.
As a woman, a mother, and a daughter, I find that statistic terrifying. I was never naïve about breast cancer, but hearing this statistic put it all into perspective.
Women close to me have battled the disease and are now soldiers in the greater fight against it. But the moment I heard "every three minutes," I felt vulnerable and scared as I realized that anyone is susceptible.
The only way for me to ease my fears was to take action. I needed to educate myself and others on this disease. As the Honorary Chair for the Avon Foundation, I had resources at my fingertips. I had access to an entire organization that is dedicated to giving back to women and educating people. So I started asking, "What do I need to know?"
It was through that curiosity that I found out the most important fact in breast cancer: Early detection saves lives.
Of course talking about breast cancer and breast health is a personal thing. I too am a private person but encourage all women to break through their reservations and talk to their doctors and physicians.
We must also banish the myth that young women are not at risk for breast cancer. At the Avon Walk in Washington, I met young survivors who were diagnosed in their 20s, an age when most women are graduating from college and just starting their lives as full adults.
Women in their 20s and 30s should have a clinical breast exam by a health professional at least once every three years and women 40 and older should have an exam every year.
I am passionate about fighting this devastating disease. I fight for my mother, myself, my children and future generations of women, so one day we will not have to be afraid of breast cancer. I began my fight by learning important first steps in breast cancer detection, and will not end my fight until every woman can stand together saying we are breast cancer free.
More than anything else, I have faith -- faith we will find a cure. I saw this commitment in the faces of the women in Washington -- in the faces of the women walking and the women and men who stood on the sidelines encouraging the 3,500 participants to the finish line. I was cheering right along with them, screaming for action to find a cure.”

The American Idol fourth-season winner Carrie Underwood joined the line up of musically-talented women namely Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Sheryl Crow and Melissa Etheridge to record "Just Stand Up" for the Stand Up To Cancer charity program.
The SU2C is a charitable program initiated by the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) materialized by the joint effort of the media, entertainment and philanthropic leaders who have been affected by cancer. Its main objective is to raise funds for research and provide support to cancer patients.
“It seems that everyone has been touched by cancer these days, whether it be a personal experience, a family member or friend, or their families,” says Carrie. “If by participating in this charity effort I entice just one person to give funds for cancer research, then it will be so worthwhile.”
Proceeds of the songs in the record, produced by Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds and Antonio "L.A." Reid on sale exclusively on iTunes, will go to charity.
Central to the program is a telethon scheduled to air on all three major broadcast networks namely ABC, CBS and NBC on September 5, 2008 where all-female lineup will also debut the song.
Helen Mirren: Claims of Cocaine Use And Date-Raped Incident
LONDON – Oscar winner British actress Helen Mirren revealed her love of cocaine when she was at her 20s. She also claims to experienced date-raped then.
In an interview with Britain's GQ magazine, the 63-year-old said, “I loved coke. I never did a lot, just a little bit at parties."But what ended it for me was when they caught (Nazi war criminal) Klaus Barbie, the Butcher of Lyon, in the early 80s.”

Hellen Miller's date-raped experience wasn't reported because “you couldn't do that in those days," she explained. Additionally, "I don't think she can have that man into court under those circumstances. I guess it is one of the subtle parts of the men/women relationship that has to be negotiated and worked out between them."
