Get Your Nails Done This Breast Cancer Awareness Month
As such as this journalist and breast cancer victim Caroline Monk, who chronicled her journey battling the disease in a magazine column, has created her own campaign of which she called Caroline's Campaign with the aim of helping women keep looking their best during treatment. Caroline has worked with Toni & Guy to customize wigs and make-up artist Karen Betts to tattoo in brows when hair is lost.
Now, she aims for raising funds through manicure. By getting your nails done at the 7,000 salons around the UK for £35, £2 will go to the campaign. The Salon offers Bio Sculpture, having your nails decorated with a pretty pink ribbon – the symbol of the campaign with a non-chemical, natural nail gel.
This is a call for unity against the dreadful disease of cancer and a call for women suffering the disease to stay hopeful and strong.
