Tony Awards 2008
As televised on CBS, the Tony Awards sparkled with fashion and wonderful performances from stage performances of the The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Rent and Young Frankenstein.
Comedian Whoopi Goldberg hosted the event that is intended for Broadway productions and performances.
Big Winner for this year's Tony Awards is Boyd Gaines, who has taken home the Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical for his role in Gypsy.
