Rock Band Debuts On Facebook

Rockstar-wannabees: rejoice! Microsoft is creating a Facebook application for America's favorite guilty video game pleasure, "Rock Band" (which is widely speculated to surpass Guitar Hero 3 as 2008's top selling video game in the US).

This application will allow you to create a fictional band, invite members and brave feedback from fans/dissenters.

Want to up the ante and bring out your competitive side? The application will also include a flash-based "challenge" competition that if you are dethroned, could prompt an "auf wiedersehen" from the band.
