Jerry Hall Auctions Wedding Dress For £2,420

Jerry Hall, former wife of famed rock musician Mick Jagger, has auctioned her wedding dress for £2,420 at Sotheby's. The price guide for her old wedding dress was set at £300 - £500.

The American supermodel and actress has auctioned a total of 430 items from her wardrobe to help her fave charity Emmaus.

Jerry Hall wore the wedding dress to her married with Mick Jagger in 1990. The wedding dress was a white, off-the-shoulder, lace number designed by Anthony Price.

Aside from the wedding dress, all other items from Jerry Hall's wardrobe has fetched £28,000.

"For me, this is a time of letting go, simplifying and getting my priorities right. I love it that my dresses can have a new lease of life in someone else's wardrobe," she said.

And as for her wedding dress, the 51-year old Jerry Hall send her best wishes for whoever woman who wears it in the future.

"It's really odd to think that some other woman might wear it at her wedding. I just hope whoever she is has more luck than I did."
