Hollywood Walk of Fame Names New 25 Stars

Cameron Diaz, Shakira, Robert Downey Jr., and Hugh Jackman are among the new list of stars to join the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year. This was announced by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce on Thursday.

Hollywood celebrities who make it in the walk of fame are determined by hundreds of nominations from different media and entertainment groups. Once they get the highest nominations, they are to be given honor on the walk of fame as represented by the memorial pink terrazzo stars, that each bears the awarded celebrity's name.

Aside from the famous Hollywood celebrities mentioned, recipients of the stars on Hollywood Walk of Fame include Felicity Huffman, Leslie Caron, Kyra Sedgwick, William H. Macy, Sir Ben Kingsley, Tim Burton, John Stamos, Charles Durning, Ralph Fiennes, William Petersen, Mark Burnett, Chuck Lorre, Kenny "Baby Face" Edmonds, Dave Koz, The Miracles, The Village People, Doug Morris, Rush, Bill Handel, KCRW host Harry Shearer, and even fictional character Tinker Bell.
