Global Warming Affects Fashion
Global warming does affect fashion. While most people have separate winter and summer wardrobes before, a happy combination of both is in demand these days because it will last the whole year through. "People aren't really interested in heavy winter coats. They want year-round materials because the seasons have become so erratic, " says one fashion designer.
"Women want things that can cross climates and seasons. They want clothes that are neither high summer nor deep winter," added Harriet Quick, Vogue fashion features editor.
"The season shift has become a very real part of our work and it has definitely affected how we design and the way we go about doing business."
So as the changing season always makes way for new trend in fashion, designers are also considering climate change when it comes to designing clothes and running their businesses nowadays.
