Fabulous Hollywood at the Cannes Film Festival

Being one of the oldest and most prestigious festival, the 61st Annual Cannes Film Festival has started on May 14, and just as fabulous as its earlier affairs with many Hollywood stars who ramped all the way from USA to France to witness a showcase of European films.

As expected, stars are donned in fabulous gowns and dresses. Let's take a glimpse at some of the brightest Hollywood celebs, courtesy of their mesmerizing designer gowns.


Julianne Moore was in a feathery creation from Christian Lacroix couture from the designer's spring '08 collection. Cate Blanchett posed in a layered shell pink Armani Prive one-shoulder gown with ruffled detailing. Actress and model Devon Aoki wore a shimmery ombre dress and high ponytail to the premiere of “Blindness.” Natalie Portman was in bright purple ruffled number from Lanvin's spring '08 collection. Mischa Barton looked sophisticated in a navy fishtail dress by Alberta Ferretti. Eva Longoria was in striking blue Versace dress.

Anyway, the focus of the Cannes Film Festival activity are not the Hollywood stars but the movies that make it to the Cannes entries. So move over fabulous celebs!
