Kill a Kangaroo, Get a Shoe

Each year, millions of kangaroos are killed in what is widely regarded as the largest wildlife massacre on the planet.
Shockingly, the number one supporters of this barbaric trade are sports shoe manufacturers, who purchase the skins and turn them into football boots. Adidas, one of the industry’s biggest customers, is a major driving force behind the industry.
In 2006, David Beckham, who is paid millions of pounds to promote Adidas products switched to synthetics after years of wearing kangaroo football boots. However, despite Beckham's change of heart Adidas continues to make many other football boots out of kangaroo leather.
The sports world could use a major overhaul (two words: Michael Vick) with its "higher-than-any-law" attitude that even justifies the killing of innocent animals for a shoe, enough said!

you must be joking! Roo's breed like rabbits, they destroy crops and precious grass, leaving dead dirt behind. Roo's numbers are increasing continually. Roo's will never be extinct! The amount being killed is minimal compared to the thousands upon thousands which run wild. If you don't live in Australia, have never lived in the outback/country areas, you have no right to judge. Here we have yet another example of ignorance from people with no first-hand long-term personal experience in the matter. Live in the outback for at least ten years, then give an informed, intelligent critic.
Really? You don't think there are so many being killed? Either way, their innocent and that's just they were born. I have been to Australia and my relatives live there, so don't think I don't have the "right" to judge this. It isn't like the Australians won't feel bad when polar bears die on the North Pole just because they don't live there. Would you like to be made into sports shoes?
Don't you mean the way they act is their instinct?
