Potato Crisps on the Runway: Antoni and Alison Fall 2007 Ready-To-Wear

While London Fashion Week has yet to rival Paris or New York for its household name designers, it definitely strays from the usual.

The British designers, Antoni and Alison, presented their runway collections in a 19th century pub with models sipping on wine and snacking on potato crisps, perhaps in response to the "skinny" debate and deaths of two models that propelled Madrid to ban size zero models.

A 19th century pub is a stark contrast to traditional runway settings, but perhaps it represents casual fun and "seeing double", which was a theme in Antoni and Alison's collection.
