Jessica Simpson Divorced Nick Lachey Because of "The Notebook"

Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, the heartthrobbing couple of the hit MTV show, "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica" filed for divorced in December 2005. Though they seemed to be one of the happiest and best-looking couples in Hollywood, their "perfect" marriage came to an end after three years.

Jessica states that she made that decision after watching "The Notebook", and decided that she need to "breathe".

Jessica refuses to announce if she's with someone else now, but one hopes that she will find her "Notebookesque" love of her life this time.
