TV-style Video Editor
Video Editor needed for HILARY Magazine (North America's Most Popular Online Woman's Magazine) to work with a fun and creative team to shoot 3 to 5 minute (final edited version) TV-style video segments for the online magazine. Although video should have cinematic quality, the editing should be creative, fun MTV-style.
We will be shooting fun, exciting video articles as well as interviewing top designers, celebrities and business people, which will make for amazing samples.
Must be very well versed in your editing software and have professional editing experience.
Please reply with experience and samples -- and video resume we can view online.
You will be working with MiniDV, and the video will be displayed using Macromedia Flash. We need you to take the raw footage and make it into a 3 to 5 minute segment that moves quickly, is funny, has proper sound and colour, and has credits, etc.
Work with a creative team in Manhattan and get amazing high-profile video samples for your resume! (Segments will stay online in the magazine indefinitely.)
Video will be used both on magazine and for a TV pilot. This is a volunteer position. You will get full credits in each video.
