Shop And Burn The Calories!

Looking for the perfect excuse to go shopping? Then this may be the right words to backup a shopaholic's confession:
Shopping is a healthy exercise!
A new study commissioned by Debenhams (England) has revealed that High Street sprees are good for your health.
While sorting through items at shopping stores each week, who would have thought that an average woman actually burns around 385 calories - the equivalent of a piece of carrot cake or two large glasses of wine?
Shopping eats up five calories every minute and for the average woman, that's 48,000 calories a year.
Shopping is a rigorous activity than say, sorting through book shelves. We trudge through stores to look for items not realizing we are already standing and walking for two hours, with shopping bags in our hands and elevated shoes on our feet.
We went home feeling exhausted, sometimes feet and back aching. And then we realized we did not take a break at pitstops - we literally shop until we drop. We are burning calories!
